WORSHIP GOD!
4. WORSHIP LEADS YOU INTO THE REALM OF GOD

In worship Jesus can deal with all issues of your life. When the presence of the Holy Spirit overwhelms you during your worship, you can be translated into realm of the spirit. Many powerful ministries have started from worship teams. Many revivals have produced new kind of praise and worship songs and performances. Worship is simply the most powerful action before the Lord, before the people and before the powers of darkness.

The most astonishing military victory happened when the army of Israel was trying to conquer the town of Jericho. That was the beginning of takeover of the promised land. God had earlier spoken to Moses that Israel must destroy Jericho and take the promised land. Jericho was a major symbol of idolatry and resistance against God. The victory over Jericho was the key to other victories of Israel. Joshua had to conquer this city first before the other areas.

The first chapters of the book of Joshua describe, how thoroughly the nation of Israel had to be prepared before crossing the Jordan river. The nation had to sanctify and separate themselves to God. Obeying God in faith was the key of supernatural victories, that were to come on the way.

Joshua led people across Jordan according to God's advice. The priests had to step into the water first carrying the ark of the covenant. Then God stopped the waters miraculously and the people of Israel crossed the river on dry ground. The priests had to stand in the river until all people had got across. God showed to His people that He will be with them, but they had to operate according to His advice and commands. The presence and power of God would cause fear among the nations that had to be removed from the promised land.

Joshua 5:1: And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, that were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, that were by the sea, heard how that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them anymore, because of the children of Israel.

The mighty city of Jericho did not surrender before Israel. Taking over the heavily fortified city was difficult for the army of Joshua. But God was with Joshua and the people of Israel. His plan was the heavenly intervention with the angels. God gave Joshua a perfect plan for perfect victory. Seven priests had to bear seven trumpets before the ark of the covenant. This army had to compass the city once a day during six days. On the seventh day they had to compass the city seven times. On the seventh round the priests had to blow the trumpets. The walls of Jericho would fall down.

God sent angels to destroy the walls of Jericho in the atmosphere of praise, worship and action of faith. The army of Joshua has open road to take over the city. This is extremely powerful picture of the supernatural victories that God can do when we obey Him in faith and worship Him.

The walls of Jericho describe the power of natural mind and its thought patterns. Your spirit is connected to God and His supernatural realm by the spirit of revelation and faith of God. Your natural mind and ungodly thoughts must be removed. Then the supernatural victories of Jesus can manifest in your life.

Joshua 6:2-5: And Jehovah said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thy hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor. And ye shall compass the city, all the men of war, going about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. And it shall be, that, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall go up every man straight before him.
