1. JEESUS HAS CALLED YOU TO BE A LEADER Jesus is the true leader and ruler of the Universe. None will be able to challenge or question His leadership. He has the heavenly power in His leadership, which is destined to fulfill the will of God on the earth and in the heaven. You are called to be united with Him. This means that you will be growing in ever increasing capacity and knowledge of the godly leadership. Your position and qualities are determined by the position and qualities of Jesus Christ! Jesus is working in you and through you according to His will. John 15:16: Ye have not chosen me, but I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, AND ORDAINED YOU, THAT YE SHOULD GO AND BRING FORTH FRUIT, AND THAT YOUR FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Jesus is the leader of the Universe. In Him you can see the perfect qualifications of a true leader. He calls you into His likeness, to act in the same Spirit and to do the same works as He did. This will happen when you receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit, the very same Spirit through which Jesus performed all His wonderful works! John 15:5-8: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same BRINGETH FORTH MUCH FRUIT: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that YE BEAR MUCH FRUIT; so shall ye be my disciples. Jesus is speaking about bearing MUCH FRUIT! Your calling is not to live a miserable life, wavering in your faith and decisions and somehow trying to get into heaven. No, no! He is saying to you: "I am your God and King, and I am calling you to follow Me and receive from Me the capacity, strength and character that will make you a sign and a wonder and a person through whom I will manifest Myself. I will equip you with the heavenly resources and I want you to have a great impact on the people around you. I want manifest myself through you and let My glory rest upon you when you follow Me and obey Me!" If you want to bear MUCH fruit it means that you must be able to CAUSE A CHANGE IN THE PEOPLES LIVES. It means godly capacity to lead people from darkness into light. It means strength to resist human opinions and powers of darkness. It means that you will have fresh and powerful insights and visions about God, heaven and God's plans on the earth. It means that you have real time connection with your King in Heaven and you continuously receive orders from Him. It means that you understand your high calling and glorious position as a child of God and as a servant of the Most High God! It means that you have anointing to preach the Good News of Jesus with power and signs following. It means that you will heal the sick, set the captives free, heal the broken hearts and bring the salvation of God to the people. 2. THE QUALIFICATIONS John 5:19-20: Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. This was the proclamation of the leadership of Jesus. He did
not appeal to his own resources or plans, although He had much
more capacity than any other human being. He said He is totally
committed to the will and plans of His heavenly Father. Therefore
Jesus as a human being was also fully linked to THE POWER OF
THE ALMIGHTY GOD. On the earth, even as a human being, Jesus
was fully capable to perform anything that the Father told Him
to do. Even raising the dead was possible, as it will be for
those who will believe and obey Jesus today. The godly capacity will be imparted in you by receiving His Word and letting the Holy Spirit fill you continuously. The truth of the Word of God will transform your mind and deliver you from the strongholds of lies. Eph 2:4-7: But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) AND HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. God has called you for the unique and important mission that only you can do. God has given you unique gifts and properties and put you into the circumstances where He can and desires to use you mightily. In order to be able to perform your task you need to grow in spiritual leadership. This leadership does not come nor depend on any visible position in the organizations or administrations of this world. It does not depend even on your position in your church. It depends only on your devotion, submission and obedience to Jesus and His Holy Spirit! Jesus wants that you will rise up in the power of the Holy Spirit and receive a new capacity and resources to act as a leader of the Kingdom of God. Do not look at yourself, look at Jesus! He will transform you, equip you and anoint you for the great work of the harvest. 2 Cor 3:18- 4:1-2: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. THEREFORE SEEING WE HAVE THIS MINISTRY, AS WE HAVE RECEIVED MERCY, WE FAINT NOT; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but BY MANIFESTATION OF THE TRUTH COMMENDING OURSELVES TO EVERY MAN'S CONSCIENCE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD. The leadership of the Kingdom of God operates in supernatural realm. You need to be dependent, humble and obedient to the Lord. At the same time you have to be free from the control and opinions of the people. You need to be gentle and full of mercy to the people, but invincible and unshakeable against any power of darkness. You need to put aside your own thoughts and plans and be full of faith and revelation of God. You have to be ready to wait years for the timing of the Lord and yet prepared to act in a second when the Lord directs you. You have to be ready to serve anyone in extreme humility but you need also get ready for taking a lead in front of thousands of people when the Lord directs you! Your personal anointing is simply your ability to co-operate
with God. Jesus is the head of a church and He needs obedient
body to function and perform the duties. You need to learn the
word of God, to know God's Kingdom and obey the leading of the
Holy Spirit without any resistance, wavering or delay. Then the
anointing of the Holy Spirit in and upon you will do the works
of the Father, just as it was with Jesus when He ministered as
a human being. Jesus is our perfect example of the leader of the Kingdom of God. Start reading the gospels as they have been written. Think about those situations as you would be there. See that Jesus was just like any human being, except without sin. Think about how you would have managed the situations in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, that is available for you! Do not say that Jesus was an exception. Why, because Jesus said: John 14:12-14: Verily, verily, I say unto you, HE THAT BELIEVETH ON ME, THE WORKS THAT I DO SHALL HE DO ALSO; AND GREATER WORKS THAN THESE SHALL HE DO; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. There it is! Jesus wants you to do the same works than He did under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Put yourself into those situations and think about what kind of qualification you would need in order to be able to function as Jesus wants you to do. Learn of Him! Seek and you will find, ask and you will be given! There are following principles in growing as the leader of the Kingdom of God: 1) Receive and conceive your position as a beloved child of God. The motivation of any action and leadership in the Kingdom of God is PURE, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. First of all you are in a position of child of God. God the Father wants you to receive His full love and acceptance. Before you have done anything He is saying to you: "Through My only begotten Son Jesus you are My beloved son/daughter, with you I am well pleased". You need to start operating from the condition of rest because otherwise you would speak captivity and oppression to the people. Receive the rest from your own works and let the Holy Spirit to inspire you into fruitful actions. You can do this because you are fully forgiven and reconciled. When you have caught this key message, you will be able to communicate the same message to anyone around you. This is your foundation, do not let anyone shake this eternal truth in your heart. 2) Learn to lead your own life in God's will Before you can lead anyone into right direction you have to learn to lead your own life according to the directions of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. God will test you and as soon as you have passed the test He will promote you! Do not argue with God, yield unto Him patiently. Be faithful in those small things which are in your responsibility right now. Develop your spiritual ears and eyes quickly to discern the voice of God in different situations. Remember, Jesus lives in you and He is always with you. Obedience to Jesus is the ultimate source of your authority to lead and operate. When people see that you worship God and hear and obey His voice, they will respect your authority. When the demons see that you worship only God and you have no agreement with the darkness, they have to obey when you command them to flee in Jesus name! 3) Let your heart be changed God looks at your heart. Your outward properties or your circumstances are no problem to Him. Jesus can increase any resources in and to you and change any circumstance around you. The obstacles for your ministry are only in your heart. Let the Word of God cut every area in your life and bring new order and purity. Let Jesus take away the stony heart and put in the heart of flesh. Let pride, selfishness, lust, bitterness, jealousy and other evil desires be destroyed in your heart. Let the works of the flesh die so that the fruits of the Spirit can come forth. Let the love of God start motivating all your actions. Reading the Word of God and obeying will open the way to the Holy Spirit to make this happen. 4) Receive a call from God God will communicate you His will concerning your life and ministry. He is the leader of the Universe and He wants you to be a useful servant of His wonderful plan for the mankind. Prepare yourself, He will speak to you. When He speaks to you, increase your efforts in order to take those steps that are needed for the completion of your calling. Learn to wait until you hear from the Lord and learn to move according to His directions! You must hear your call from God and then you can boldly step into the ministry and you can expect anointing to rest upon you. God will anoint you where He has called you to work. Your call must be consistent with the great commission of Jesus (Matt. 28:18-20). 5) Lead people to Jesus Our goal is to grow into Jesus. The ultimate goal of any ministry of the Kingdom of God must be to lead people to Jesus. You are called to build His Kingdom. As long as you operate in His will and lead people to Jesus you bear good fruit which will last forever. You must have a revelation about Jesus as the Savior, Healer, Deliverer and Provider. You must have personal experiences about Him before you can lead anyone in these areas. Jesus wants to reveal Himself fully to you, do not try on your own. Your primary vision can not be a new church or some organized activity, it must be Jesus and His Kingdom. In leading people to Jesus you will need some tools but they should not be your main focus. As long as you build the Kingdom of God there will be increase in your ministry but if you start building the kingdom of your own there will be decrease. 6) Operate in the realm of unconditional mercy and grace The King of kings and the Lord of lords is the most merciful, loving and patient person in the universe. Under His lordship, as His steward, you must learn his kind of heart. All your plans and aims must be motivated by Father's love and they must be fulfilled inside the glorious realm of mercy and grace. If you would get outside of mercy you would start producing bad fruit and you would get into trouble. The Kingdom of God is the kingdom of mercy and grace. You have to make a decision not to deny or limit God's grace for any person. Whatever sin, failure or problem you face, you should never accuse, oppress, manipulate, bind, judge or reject. These negative leadership qualities belong to this world and they come from the ruler of darkness. As a leader of the Kingdom of God you will preach unlimited forgiveness, unlimited healing, unlimited deliverance, supernatural miracles, salvation from impossible situations in pure faith and mercy, for anyone who repents. In order to be able to do that, the stony heart must be removed, your own alabaster flask must be broken and your own narrow mind must be set aside! 4. JESUS WANTS NEW, PURIFIED LEADERSHIP We have too many examples even today about the leaders and pastors who have had wrong motives, wrong targets and wrong ways of operation in their ministry. Therefore, if you want to grow into godly leadership, let Jesus teach you. Do not adopt behavior from existing leaders. God wants new, purified leadership which will bring forth much better fruit than the leaders today can do. Jesus will call and appoint pastors who have David's heart. David was able to raise heroes of Israel from the bitter and in-debt people. True anointing will cause the good fruit to grow. You may be sick and tired with the corrupted pastors and spiritual leaders, but be encouraged. Their time will end quickly unless they repent and change. In any case God will raise up a new generation! His plan is greater than we see now. You can be the leader of the new generation and you can lead your people into greater glory than ever before. Let God equip you and light your lamp to burn. When your lamp is burning He will put you in a lamp stand at the wall and your light will shine to all in the room. What will be different in the leaders of the new generation? 1) They will have unusual passion for the manifestation of the glory of God. They desire to stay in the fire of God as long as all junk has been consumed out of their lives. 2) They will be jealous to give all the honor and glory to God. If any man tries to lift them up, they will refuse to take anything for themselves. 3) They will have fearful and surprising commitment with Jesus. They have made a decision to obey God even unto the death. The irresistible love of God will be tangible in their lives. 4) Their devotion will bring conviction to everyone who listens to them. The presence of the Holy Spirit is burning around them. All gifts of the Holy Spirit will operate in their ministry. 5) Their humility, purity and anointing will be a bright contrast to the confused, religious and powerless leadership. People who see these new leaders will reject in herds the old leaders. 6) The new leaders will walk in wonderful love that creates new kind of fellowship and unity in their churches. Power of God will start manifesting and people of the world will start running into these churches. 7) The dams will burst with violent flows that nobody will be able to control. New leaders will be appointed by Jesus and the human plans will become shameful and disgusting. 8) The new leaders will be able to move and operate quickly in the wildfire of the Holy Spirit. The people will be astonished about the operations of the Holy Spirit through their ministry. 9) The new leaders will not care a bit about their benefits. They will put all efforts to get people to Jesus. The new leaders will deliver the church from all oppression and control and lead people to the glorious freedom in Jesus. 10) The new leaders will raise up more new leaders. They refuse from any competition, jealousy and fight. They will have a true heart of a servant and consider as a greatest honor to be persecuted because of the name of the Lord. 5. PRACTICAL DAILY TRAINING The governing law of the Kingdom of God is serving and giving. Whatever you have got as a blessing from God, that you can give to the others. There is no idle person or idle time in the Kingdom. You will spend time in receiving from the Lord and you will serve and give blessings to the other. Any growth in the ministry will come through actions of obedience. Continue doing this and you will quickly grow in your ministry: 1) Let the Holy Spirit speak to you more and let your mind be more aware about Jesus in all daily situations. 2) Control your tongue and let Jesus speak through you words of faith and solution to people around you. In any discussion and meeting speak life, righteousness, peace and joy. Turn the negative into positive, hatred into love, cursing into blessing, darkness into light. 3) Seek opportunities to lead people to Jesus (salvation, healing, deliverance, provision). Pray to God that He would lead you to the people that are ready to receive from you. 4) Take care of your marriage and children. Teach your children, pray with them and they will see the power of God in their own life. Call your neighbors, relatives, colleagues and friends and tell them about Jesus. Your personal love towards them and devotion to God will preach much more than big sermons! 5) Take responsibility of the people that God leads to you. Keep having fellowship, teaching and encouraging. Be available in any situation, day and night. Make it easy for the people to come to you and touch you as a real human being and as a servant of God. 6) Seek to co-operate with a senior servant of God who can lead you. Be faithful in helping him and receiving from him. Draw from his anointing meanwhile you grow in your own revelation and calling. 7) Make a commitment to build a church or a ministry with others. You need to learn to build the work of God together with other people, as a faithful servant, and then God will trust you your own ministry to build His Kingdom. 8) Learn a life style of constant growth and change. Make a decision to change every day. Then after a year you will be another person and you will have a double anointing and even more! The key is to seek after the anointing and to let your character grow in Jesus through increasing knowledge of the Word of God and filling with the Holy Spirit. Do not worry about your position or circumstances. Concentrate to co-operate with the Holy Spirit. He will be your teacher, power, wisdom, comforter, provider and solution in all situations. Seek after the most precious gifts of the Spirit. Learn to act in faith. The anointing will destroy every yoke and open the way to you. 1 Thess 5:23-24: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. FAITHFUL IS HE THAT CALLETH YOU, WHO ALSO WILL DO IT. With love in Jesus Christ  |
