1. BELIEVE ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES Dear friend of revival, God has created you to do greater works and operate on a wider territory than you may believe! You are a servant of Jesus and He has called you to have a creative and transforming effect to the conditions of this world. You are called to subdue visible things unto the order of God - with Him and in obedience to Him. When you know your position and authorization you will have faith and revelation to serve Jesus in a new kind of calling. We are living in the midst of many dangers but with Jesus and in His Name we have enormous potential of influence to proclaim and manifest the reign of God. A believer should never give up to the 'prophesies' of destruction. We should instead be increasingly filled with the Holy Spirit and power and stand up to preach the supreme reign of Jesus over the whole earth. This teaching will give you answers to following questions:
The recent catastrophe of the Bay of Bengal has got an enormous publicity because there suffered more western tourists than in any other major catastrophe this far. This accident has launched a big number of different myths and 'prophesies', which do not serve the purposes of the Kingdom of God. By this teaching we want to bring some clarity also over this current situation. There will always be accidents and therefore we need the right understanding about them in order to maintain peace and to direct our life and ministry in a right way. The purpose of our faith life is to prepare ourselves for the Heaven. God's view towards the man is different than human thoughts. His plan for His children will be accomplished fully only in Heaven. Therefore we do not understand the human fates in this age unless we receive the view of eternity into our understanding. Deut 29:29: The secret things belong unto Jehovah our God; but the things that are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law (torah = teaching). The Hebrew word 'torah' is generally translated with the word 'law', although the primary meaning is 'teaching' or 'instruction'. God teaches us through His Word and gives us revelation and understanding about Him and His plan for us. However, we must not try to get to know everything, but we are commanded to know and obey all that God has revealed us. Concerning the salvation of an individual soul, every accident is destructive. Small accidents are happening all the time around us. But the knowledge of the destructive effects of a giant catastrophe will spread out widely and will touch great number of people simultaneously. God wants to save every human being from the powers of darkness in this age and from the hell forever. Therefore we daily need to seek God's plan for us and try to minister gospel to our neighbours so that His plan would proceed in their lives. John 3:14-21: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up; that whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. FOR GOD SENT NOT THE SON INTO THE WORLD TO JUDGE THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD SHOULD BE SAVED THROUGH HIM. He that believeth on him is not judged: HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT HATH BEEN JUDGED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HATH NOT BELIEVED ON THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD. And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved. But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God. The judgement, wages and punishment of all sin were upon Jesus and therefore His believers are definitely free from any condemnation (in Greek 'katakrima' (kat-ak'-ree-mah)). Jesus will in His fiery light judge the life of every believer, but in this judgement He will declare the verdict of final freedom and will lavish the reward of the righteousness to His children. Those people who do not believe in Jesus are already condemned because of their sin. They will meet THE FULFILMENT OF THE VERDICT AND PUNISHMENT OF THEIR SINS because they have not believed in Jesus, who is the only and perfect Sacrifice for their sins. God has already imposed the judgement over the sin. The power of eternal death is working already in every person who does not believe in Jesus. Without Him every man will utterly die in his sins. We wish you will see that no more judgement is needed for the people. The reward of sin is being distributed by the demons that are working in this age. The only difference between the eternal hell and the hell in this age is that the eternal hell is THE FULFILLMENT OF THE PUNISHMENT AND THERE WILL BE NO RETURN. Understanding this leads us to worship Jesus more than ever, because He saves every man now and forever from the hell here on the earth and from the eternal hell! The desire to condemn seems to live deeply among many believers. There are lots of judgmental teachings and 'prophetic' messages which well up from deceitful religious spirits and people's confusion. Let the Holy Spirit cleanse your heart and mind from the spirit of condemnation that comes from the devil. Believe in Jesus rather than your religious imagination or the opinions of men! The people who are ignorant about the content of the Word of God are thinking that every catastrophe would be some SPECIAL judgement of God. They do not understand that as a result of the fall in sin the mankind has already come under the same verdict that God imposed upon Lucifer - the head of the demons - and upon his followers. This judgement is irrevocable and means destruction. As a result of the fall the man got under the slavery of deceitful and destructive spirits which lead people to cause catastrophes even upon themselves. Since Lucifer's fall the whole creation has been subjected to vanity. This is the judgement of the sin and a result of the presence of destructive demons in the heavenlies of this earth. But God sent Jesus to save people and the whole creation OUT FROM THIS JUDGEMENT, WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN IMPOSED WITH ITS CONSEQUENCIES. In addition of the salvation God authorized His people TO BIND, RESIST, AND REMOVE THE POWER OF THE DARKNESS IN THE NAME OF JESUS. Together with Jesus the children of God will finally deliver the whole creation from the powers of darkness and their destruction. 2. THE FIRST AND THE SECOND CREATION We study the beginning of the Genesis according to the translation of Mrs. Mirja Ronning, who has been working as a professor of Hebrew in the University of Jerusalem. She has done an excellent job in her translations of certain books of the Bible, which have contained notable inaccuracies. Gen 1:1: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. In the original text there is a word 'Elohim', which means God in plural form. In the first creation Father God, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit created the heaven and the earth. God created the heaven as a spiritual world and the earth as a natural world. For these worlds God created their conditions, purposes and rules. God created the earth for the mankind and gave him capacity to create new things. This capacity will be fully released in spiritual ministry by faith in Jesus. God created the man into His own image. Therefore the man has godly characteristics and features, although he is not perfect in his natural body. In the same way the earth has some characteristics and features than the heaven, although the earth is natural and imperfect. The creation of the earth happened in the beginning, and God created the man later on. The first verse covers the first creation completely. We can be sure that the result of this creation was 'very good', because all that God creates, is good, perfect and favourable! The heavenly creatures worshipped God each in their own position. The life that God had created flourished on the earth and in the Heaven. The heavenly order prevailed in all. There was no darkness in this age because the fall of Lucifer had not yet happened. Gen 1:2. THE EARTH BECAME CHAOTIC and the darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The second verse reveals a new decisive truth, which has been translated in many translations inaccurately. The earth was not 'void and empty', but THE EARTH BECAME CHAOTIC AND THE DARKNESS WAS UPON THE FACE OF THE DEEP. The Hebrew verb used here has a meaning 'to be something' or 'to become something'. For example, this verb is used in the verse Genesis 3:20 in the meaning 'she was (=became) the mother of all living'. The word 'chaotic' ('hjh' in Hebrew) means a condition that has no form or order. Therefore we can translate the beginning of the verse Genesis 1:2 also like this: "THE EARTH BECAME CHAOTIC AND THE DARKNESS WAS UPON THE FACE OF THE DEEP…" Why the earth became chaotic and why the darkness was upon the deep, although God had created the earth full of life, order and light? The words of Jesus in Luke 10:18 give the answer for these questions: Luke 10:18: And he said unto them, I beheld Satan fallen as lightning from heaven. God threw Lucifer - the fallen cherub - down to the earth and allowed him and the angels that fell with him a temporary dwelling place in the heavenlies of the earth. God created the man later on, when the powers of darkness already were around there. Therefore the serpent was able to wriggle into the garden and cause the fall for a man. Jesus came to destroy ALL WORKS OF THE EVIL. Therefore, when Jesus began His ministry as the Anointed One, He began to proclaim the reign of God in the visible world. He taught the disciples to pray: "Thy kingdom (=reign) come. Thy will be done, as in Heaven, so on earth." Until that time the creation was totally under the reign of the darkness, because any man before Jesus did not have authority and power to win the powers of the sin and darkness IN THIS WORLD. Luke 10:19: Behold, I HAVE GIVEN YOU AUTHORITY TO TREAD UPON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY: and nothing shall in any wise hurt you. This proclamation and authorization began to shake the powers of darkness! From that moment on the disciples of Jesus got power to break down the oppression of the devil on the earth and manifest the reign of God. Please note, that Jesus proclaimed this authorization even before finalising His redemptive work! But the time to DESTROY the powers of darkness has not yet come. God gave His people the task TO TREAD UPON THEM and DELIVER PEOPLE FROM THEIR SLAVERY. Since the outpouring of the Holy Spirit the church of Jesus has had this ministry TO PROCLAIM THE REIGN OF GOD ON THE EARTH. In the power of the Holy Spirit the believers can prove that the prince of this world has been judged. The evidence of this is that believers are able to cast out demons in the name of Jesus. Later there will come the time when Jesus with His Bride will UTTERLY DESTROY the powers of darkness. Is 14:12-17: How art thou fallen from heaven, O day-star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, that didst lay low the nations! And thou saidst in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit. THEY THAT SEE THEE SHALL GAZE AT THEE, THEY SHALL CONSIDER THEE, SAYING , IS THIS THE MAN THAT MADE THE EARTH TO TREMBLE, THAT DID SHAKE KINGDOMS; THAT MADE THE WORLD AS A WILDERNESS, AND OVERTHREW THE CITIES THEREOF; THAT LET NOT LOOSE HIS PRISONERS TO THEIR HOME? The word 'kingdoms' becomes from the Hebrew word 'mamlakah' (mam-law-kaw), which means primarily 'the estate of dominion' or 'the realm of dominion'. This can be also translated 'kingdom'. At the time of the fall of Lucifer the earth was the realm of God's dominion, but God allowed the satan to take it over temporarily. The word 'cities' becomes from the Hebrew word 'ayar' (aw-yar') which means primarily 'a guarded place'. God was guarding the earth and allowed the powers of darkness to land on the earth. The 'ministry' of the evil spirits produced chaos and destruction on the earth - as it will always do! The verse in Isaiah 14:17 says that as a result of their coming on the earth the powers of darkness MADE THE EARTH TREMBLE, SHAKED THE ORDER OF THE EARTH, MADE THE WORLD AS A WILDERNESS AND OVERTHREW THE GUARDED PLACES. The chaos was the result of the rule of the darkness! As a consequence of this all life was destroyed on the earth. It was possibly some kind of super Ice Age when the ice (=water) covered the whole earth. The powers of darkness destroyed or covered the light from shining on the earth, because God later created the sun and the moon to light the day and the night (Genesis 1:14-16). The whole earth became subject to the vanity because the powers of darkness began to oppress the earth, though temporarily. Apostle Paul is speaking about the same thing in his letter to Romans. The creation became oppressed and remained waiting for the coming of the children of God. The reconstruction of the earth will be accomplished by the children of God, together and under the reign of Jesus. Rom 8:19-21: For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God. FOR THE CREATION WAS SUBJECTED TO VANITY, NOT OF ITS OWN WILL, BUT BY REASON OF HIM WHO SUBJECTED IT, IN HOPE THAT THE CREATION ITSELF ALSO SHALL BE DELIVERED FROM THE BONDAGE OF CORRUPTION INTO THE LIBERTY OF THE GLORY OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD. 3. THE ORIGINAL CALLING OF THE MAN Gen 1:26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Gen 1:27: And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Gen 1:28. And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Gen 2:15: And Jehovah God took the man, and PUT HIM INTO THE GARDEN OF EDEN TO DRESS IT AND TO KEEP IT. We believe that the Garden of Eden was like a garden of settlers. God restored the circumstances there inhabitable and suitable for men. Starting from this Garden of Eden he was called to extend his dominion, to increase and eventually take the whole earth under his dominion with God and thus finish the plan of God for the planet earth. God had created the man to be a person with capacity to operate both in visible and spiritual realm because God breathed His spirit into him. The rest of visible creation on the earth was created to operate without spiritual capacity and potential. Only the man was created to co-operate with God and he got excellent qualities to perform this great task. Gen 1:27-28: And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. AND GOD BLESSED THEM: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. God's blessing rests upon men even today. God had the plan to remove the oppression of the powers of darkness over the whole creation TOGETHER WITH THE MAN. Because of the fall the man lost (temporarily, until Jesus) the capacity and potential to fulfil this PRIMARY plan and therefore THE CURSE REMAINED OVER THE EARTH. As a result of the fall the powers of darkness were able to keep their position to speak evil thoughts to the minds of people. Then people would put the curses into effect by speaking out these thoughts against each other. Any message of the enemy has a seed and a power to produce curse if a man receives it and speaks it out. Gen 3:17: And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: CURSED IS THE GROUND FOR THY SAKE; in toil shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 4. THE CONDITION OF THE CREATION AFTER THE FALL We believe that the fall of Lucifer caused destruction and chaos on the earth. Later on God sent the Holy Spirit upon the earth to restore the earth into the condition, where life could prevail again. In His restoration work God reformed the earth, created new animals, new flora and a climate which would maintain life. Through the hosts of heaven God limited the destructive attempts of the powers of darkness so that the mankind is able to survive even after the fall. It is obvious that the powers of darkness have limited influence on the weather conditions, natural phenomena, economy and the whole society - in addition of the influence of the mankind. God has created certain cycles and an interactive balance between the forces in His creation. There are natural seasons of the year, rainy and dry seasons etc. But the powers of darkness and also the mankind can disturb the balance set by God through their actions. These disturbances may cause extreme phenomena and weather conditions. When people exercise idolatry and witchcraft they open doors for the demonic oppression/curses over the homes, villages, cities and nations. The curses affect the weather, security, health, economy, mental capacity and fertility of the nature around these societies. But the curses can be broken down through the repentance of the nation. Then Jesus will come and restore the faith and then His church will be able to receive blessings from God and cast out demons and remove the curses. God is able to pour out extraordinary blessings which would exceed the potential of normal life. There are many awesome witnesses in connection of great revivals among different nations. The example of Jesus - when He calmed the storm - proves that with God His anointed people are able to bind and destroy demonic weather conditions. In this case Jesus was going to deliver the demoniac who was living in tombs and the powers of darkness tried to stop His journey and cancel His plan to deliver this man. Jesus spoke to the storm and wind AS TO A PERSON. The demons have kind of personality and we can conclude that a certain demon was behind this storm. Mark 4:35-5:2: And on that day, when even was come, he saith unto them, Let us go over unto the other side. And leaving the multitude, they take him with them, even as he was, in the boat. And other boats were with him. And there ariseth a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the boat, insomuch that the boat was now filling. And he himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion: and they awake him, and say unto him, Teacher, carest thou not that we perish? And he awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful? have ye not yet faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gerasenes. And when he was come out of the boat, straightway there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit… The ground of the earth is broken and it moves and shakes all the time BECAUSE OF THE LAWS OF THE NATURE. The solid ground consists of continental and oceanic plates which are moving and colliding against each other along the fault lines. The movement of the plate can be several centimetres in a year. The movement causes tensions which are released as different kind of earthquakes. In certain areas these movements produce continuous earthquakes and in some areas the earthquakes occur seldom. We should not consider earthquakes as some kind of 'special judgements of God', because they really are natural movements in certain areas of the earth. The earthquakes are remains of the condition on chaos in the history of the earth. If any nation seeks the Lord and turns to Him, God will heal their land and the Holy Spirit can reveal future threats that are coming because of natural development in the physical realm. If people pray and trust in God the coming destruction can be avoided and even in the middle of destruction God can bring supernatural help. The question is: where are this kind of believers today? 5. SIN LEADS MEN INTO DESTRUCTION In the accident of the Bay of Bengal there happened nothing that would have been unknown for the experts. All geologists in the world know that this region is geologically one of the most unstable areas of the globe. There are small and big earthquakes continuously. The only problem was that from the last big earthquake in the region it was so long time that people had forgotten the reality. Nations were captured by a false sense of security, which was not based on the knowledge about the real circumstances. The godly and responsible thinking is lacking among the nations, where Jesus has not been able to renew the nation. Mammon, lusts, greed, abuse and other forms of idolatry lead the life. The tourist industry maximizes the profit by neglecting necessary measures of caution or safety regulations. When people are in the slavery of the darkness they are unable to PROTECT THE EARTH AND THE LIFE. For example the shipwrecks of m/s Titanic or m/s Estonia were not judgements of God either. In both cases the shipping company and the captain with his crew intentionally neglected well known and accepted safety regulations and preparations. Both ships were run in dangerous circumstances recklessly towards inevitable destruction. In these cases obviously the sin of a man led himself into the devastation. The destruction of the World Trade Center was not a judgement of God either. Because of the irresponsibility and the enchantment of the worldly spirit and false sense of security the authorities in USA did not see what was happening. There was a lot of intelligence, tips and signs and research resources but nobody saw the danger or took it seriously. The leaders did not want to acknowledge the existence of the deadly spirit of Islamic terror, although Israel has been fighting against these demonic forces during the existence of the nation. The terrorists built the foundation for this attack while the former president of the United States practised adultery with his employee in his office. Because of the sin and negligence the terrorist had a dark corner to do their act of sabotage. The children of God would have been able to stop this with Jesus, but all dozed off - like in Germany during Hitler's era. This need not to happen anymore, because the church in each nation can wake up and stand up to break down the plans of darkness! Luke 13:1-5: Now there were some present at that very season who told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered and said unto them, Think ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they have suffered these things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all in like manner perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, think ye that they were offenders above all the men that dwell in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. The outrage of Pilate and the falling of the tower in Siloam were great catastrophes of that time and people were talking about them. Obviously the people of that time also thought that God sent a SPECIAL JUDGEMENT over these victims because of their sin. But Jesus cancelled this belief and explained the truth. There will be accidents in the world always and therefore every man must turn to God in order to get saved. Jesus does not explain the accidents as the judgements of God. The truth is that the spirits of lust, murder, deception, rebellion and pride are driving people into imprudence, extremes and towards destruction. As slaves of sin people are without protection and evil spirits are able to touch their lives. But the Holy Spirit will protect, guide and lead to the right path every child of God, who is walking in obedience. The Holy Spirit will give wisdom to make safe choices in every situation of life. 6. STAND UP AND RULE WITH JESUS! God calls every man into salvation. Only He has the capacity to protect and secure the human life in this age. The wisdom of the Holy Spirit will lead people to avoid accidents and will protect even in the midst of them. If you ask daily from God what you should do, God will protect you from dangerous tasks and journeys, where accidents would happen. Psalm 91 is an awesome proclamation about how God is able to perfectly protect the one, who abides under the shadow of the Almighty - by faith and obedience to Him. God is above all laws of nature. The spiritual laws are above natural laws. God is spirit and therefore He needs a man as His partner in this visible world. You will manage well in this ministry, because God has created you with a capacity to operate in both spiritual and visible world. Here is your mission, operation field and purpose! As a human being you have a great potential and calling to operate IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND TOGETHER WITH HIM against all destructive powers of darkness. You can prevent the potential accidents caused by men by preaching them repentance and obedience to Jesus. You can ask supernatural wisdom for the decisions of the mankind so that the destructive solutions would be hindered. You can cancel the demonic disturbances right away by intersession and prayer of faith. You can ask God's healing to the disturbances of the nature and restoration of the order of life. What you need to do is to believe in Jesus and in yourself as a new creation. You are called to take bold actions according to your faith! For extensive spiritual challenges we need wide unity of faith and special anointing. The Holy Spirit will lead every receptive servant into these ministries and teach how the work can be done. The anointed church which operates in faith has been exalted into high position and authority in unity with Jesus. In the name of Jesus the church has the authority to bind and tread upon all power of darkness. The church is called to DRESS AND KEEP THE EARTH by faith in co-operation with Jesus, in order to prevent catastrophes, decrease their effects and bring powerful works of God to save people in the midst of destruction. The highest priority among all things is to call people into salvation of Jesus. Do not let the prophecies of destruction entangle you. Stand up and exercise the reign of God in your circumstances! The greatest truth in the whole universe is that GOD IS LOVE. He hates sin but He loves people. He is good and He seeks people to save, glorify, help and protect them. The idea about judgemental God comes from the devil, who himself has got under the judgement of eternal damnation. Reject the lies of darkness, because you share the divine character with Jesus! Receive God's love, live it out and proclaim it to everyone! As a child of God you have an enormous potential and calling to rule together with Jesus already in this age. God has given you unbelievable sphere of influence together with Him. Step out into real life and ministry in the power and glory of God! With love and blessings  |
