1. BAPTISM IN WATER IS AN IMPORTANT ACT OF FAITH

The presence of Jesus in your born again spirit gives God the authority to save you after your natural death to Heaven. But the purpose of Jesus' saving work is not only to save you to Heaven. His purpose is to give you a new life in His Kingdom already in this age. By the anointing of the Holy Spirit God wants to make you His messenger among people in this world.

The Holy Spirit will lead you to freedom from the old life enslaved and corrupted by darkness. Jesus empowers your spirit to take authority over the powers of your soul. This is what the Bible calls “killing the flesh”. It happens through applying the truths of God's kingdom, renouncing the powers of darkness and being filled increasingly with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus established baptism in the water as an act of faith and obedience to consecrate one’s life to God’s purposes in unity with Him. Through baptism in water the believer declares his faith in Jesus. By immersion in water, he submits his whole life under the authority of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. In water baptism the believer must have faith in the operation of God in and after this action.

When you do this as Bible teaches, you can expect new presence and power of the Holy Spirit in your life. By receiving baptism in water, you authorize by faith the Holy Spirit to transform you into likeness of Jesus, as the Anointed One.

Rom. 6:4-7: So together with him we are buried in death by immersion, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too must walk in newness of life. For if we have grown together with him in the same death, so we are also in the same resurrection, knowing that our old man has been crucified with him, so that the body of sin may be defeated, so that we no longer serve sin; for he who is dead is justified from sin (=from straying away from God).

By taking immersion baptism, you show God, people and demons that you

  • accept the example and teachings of Jesus,
  • you resign from rebellion and disobedience against the kingdom of God,
  • you step on the path opened by the disciples and apostles, you proclaim the authority of your spirit over your “old man” by faith in Jesus,
  • you proclaim that the powers of darkness must leave out of your soul, body and life,
  • you proclaim the rising of a new creation in your life and
  • you submit your life unto the authority of Jesus.
  • Being baptized in water is a very important act of faith. In water baptism you declare that you receive all aspects of salvation in your life. In this act you accept the full promise, authority and presence of the Holy Spirit in your life. By faith in the operation of God you declare killing of your flesh and receiving a new life in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Col. 2:8-15: See to it that no one catches you with logic and empty deception, sticking to the traditions of men and the elementary powers of the world and not to Christ. For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and in him you are filled, who is the head of all government and power, and in him you also were circumcised, not with the circumcision made with hands, but with the putting off of the body of the flesh, the circumcision of Christ: being buried with him in baptism, in which you also with him you have been raised through faith in the action of God (in baptism and after), the God who raised him from the dead.

“Circumcision of the heart in the Spirit" means transformation of a life by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. In other words, this means inner healing and deliverance process. Through faith, you bury your old self in death and let the Holy Spirit bring forth a new creation from you. In water baptism you make a decision and commitment to become like Jesus, and to do His works in this world. Your Heavenly Father is extremely happy about you. Therefore He will anoint you with supernatural power of the Holy Spirit – increasingly.

When you take immersion baptism in faith according to this teaching and example of Jesus, the effect of baptism will last throughout your life. If you have missed this foundation of faith, you can take true immersion by faith again. The Holy Spirit will give you a witness whether it is necessary or not.

In and after baptism in water, Jesus will separate you into His purposes and plans. The Holy Spirit will lead you through a deliverance and inner healing process to transform you into image of Jesus. You surrender to Jesus and His plan, condemn and reject through faith all the darkness affecting your life.

In this cleansing period you learn to know your Father in Heaven and the unlimited forgiveness in Jesus. The Holy Spirit will heal your broken heart and you will find your own and true identity. You will receive the mind of Christ and the Holy Spirit will lead you into fruitful ministry of the Kingdom of God.

Col. 2:12-15: And you who were dead in your trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he made you alive together with him, forgiving us all our trespasses, and blotted out the scripture with its statutes, which was against us and was our adversary; he took it out of our way and nailed it to the cross. He disarmed governments and powers and put them under public shame; he obtained from them through him the joy of victory.

Baptism in water without personal surrender and faith in Jesus is useless. You must have proper teaching about the meaning of this procedure. Then you will receive faith in the operation of God in and after baptism. Teach these things to anyone who needs water baptism. Faith comes from hearing and hearing through receiving God's revelation.

Receive baptism in water and believe that God works in your life according to the teaching of Jesus and the apostles. Believe that all the blessings of baptism will come true in your life. It is not essential who baptizes, where it takes place and how it is carried out. The most important thing is your faith in God and purpose of water baptism.

Believe that Jesus will work for you in it. Constantly surrender to all the cleansing and renewing work of the Holy Spirit. Apostles teach that baptism must be done into the name of Jesus. This is obvious because baptism means to become Jesus’ disciple. This means to be conformed into His likeness. We receive immersion into Jesus according to His example and teachings. The faith of God must rule in this operation.

In and after baptism you may get delivered from family curses, sicknesses, witchcraft because you open a new way for the Holy Spirit to fill your soul and body. Your spirit and faith will be strengthened. You will receive a new clarity and authority of God's faith and you will be victorious in your life.

When you have received water baptism, Jesus can break all the bonds of darkness in your life. Circumcision of the heart and flesh in the Spirit releases you into the supernatural life of God's Kingdom. You can be filled with the Holy Spirit to a certain extent even before baptism by immersion, but if you want full victory and full blessing, baptism by immersion is necessary. Baptism by immersion breaks all bonds of darkness that would prevent you from receiving the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

In the mission fields among the heathen nations, after receiving baptism by immersion, people are immediately filled with the Holy Spirit without any other prayer service. Many are delivered from diseases and demons when they step into the water to be baptized. Occult curses are broken and people are overwhelmed from the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Control of family curses and witchcraft powers are broken. People get free to worship Jesus and receive new life in the power of the Holy Spirit.

When you have received Jesus and been baptized into Him, you have the right to expect the full gift of the Holy Spirit for yourself. It belongs to you, because the Father has ordained it for you in Jesus Christ!
