BAPTISM IN THE WATER

All life with God is by faith. Without faith you can not please God, but by faith you can receive any solution, help and blessings from God. In order to make your walk stable and strong before God and men you need to make clear decisions. You can not expect to receive blessings from God while you live in compromises following the life style of this world. Straighten yourself up and plug in the heavenly life in the power and glory of the Holy Spirit! If you mean business with God you will start to obey Him. Then you will yield yourself to obey the teaching and directions of the word of God. You will let the Holy Spirit lead you and God will release His life and blessing upon you.

Acts 2:38-39: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

The most important decision after receiving Jesus is to get baptized in the water. This will be the manifestation of your inner faith in God and in His word. It is inevitable evidence for the powers of darkness that now you have renounced from the control of sin, death and demons and you have devoted your life to God. After getting baptized in water you can trust that the work of the Holy Spirit will deliver you from all bondages of darkness in your spirit, soul and body. The power of God will take you into new dimension of faith, peace, joy and freedom.

Rom. 6:3-5: Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

The original Greek word for 'baptize' means to 'immerse', 'dip', even repeatedly. It is an act of faith where you trust in the operation and work of the Holy Spirit in you. Let the Holy Spirit touch you deeper and destroy the sin in your flesh and mind. His fire will cleanse you and change you. Then you will rise up as a new creature in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.

Col. 2:10-15: And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein ALSO YE ARE RISEN WITH HIM THROUGH THE FAITH OF THE OPERATION OF GOD, who hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; plotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

In water baptism your sinful character and flesh will be buried in the death of Jesus Christ. By faith you will rise up into new resurrection life together with Jesus. When you believe this, and therefore take the water baptism, Holy Spirit will work it out in you, THROUGH YOUR FAITH IN THE OPERATION OF GOD! This work of God in you will be supernatural and you will never understand it by your human understanding. It will be done only by faith which has become alive through your respective actions of obedience.

From the mission fields there are many, many witnesses about the powerful operation of the Holy Spirit in connection of the water baptism. Many people have been delivered from sicknesses, diseases and demonic forces immediately when they have stepped into the water in order to take the baptism. The occult curses have been broken and people have been immediately filled over flowingly with the Holy Spirit. In many cases the teachers of false doctrines try to get young Christians to turn back into the old practice. But as soon as these Christians have been baptized in water these tempters understand that they have lost the control over these Christians. Think about this and make up your mind quickly!
